Why football
Indian football runs on tight squads, long travel and a congested calendar. Decisions about who starts, who rests and who gets promoted from the academy happen every week, usually on instinct, because the evidence layer underneath them does not exist yet.
AthElite builds that layer from what you can realistically collect. Match events, minutes, training attendance and any GPS or fitness data you already have become a clear picture of contribution, workload and progression. Coaches see squad form and availability on one screen; academy directors see whether a player's trajectory is actually going up.
For leagues and tournament organisers, the same platform runs the competition side — fixtures, live standings, player leaderboards, a public match centre and the post-season report your sponsors want to see. For academies, maturation-adjusted profiling makes sure late developers are not quietly discarded at fifteen.
What we track
The metrics that actually change decisions.
Not everything measurable is worth measuring. These are the ones staff use.
Attacking
- Goals, assists and shot volume
- Chance creation and final-third entries
- Conversion and shot quality
- Involvement per 90 minutes
Defensive & possession
- Duels, recoveries and interceptions
- Pass completion by zone
- Progressive passes and carries
- Pressing and transition contribution
Physical
- Minutes played and rolling load
- Session attendance and intensity
- GPS distance and high-speed running, where available
- Availability and injury history
Development
- Maturation-adjusted profiling
- Position-specific benchmarks
- Progression against own baseline
- Coach evaluation alongside output

Coach note
Shot selection against spin has improved markedly this term. Focus: converting starts.
Use cases
Where football organisations get value first.
Rotation across a congested run
Minutes and load are tracked per player across the fixture pile-up, so rest decisions are made against evidence instead of gut feel — and the squad reaches the business end of the season intact.
Academy progression
Players are assessed against their own trajectory and maturation stage rather than against whoever grew earliest, which is how late developers usually get lost between U-15 and U-17.
Matchday preparation
Staff walk into the pre-match meeting with a briefing pack already assembled — squad status, recent form, opposition patterns — rather than spending the night before building it.
League credibility
A public match centre with live standings and player leaderboards turns a local league into something players want to be seen in and sponsors want to be attached to.
Who benefits
Built for these organisations.
- Football clubs from state leagues upward
- Residential and grassroots academies
- League and tournament organisers
- District and state football associations
Football FAQs
Asked and answered.
No. GPS improves load monitoring but is not required. We work from minutes played, attendance and match events, and add GPS data later if and when you have it.
Yes. Club-side work covers squad, selection and development; league-side work covers fixtures, standings, statistics, the public match centre and sponsor reporting. Several organisations use us for both.
Very much so. Maturation-adjusted profiling and development tracking are among the highest-impact things an academy can adopt, and they cost far less than most academies expect.
Depending on your plan, either your staff record it through a simple template we provide, or our team handles tagging from your footage. We scope this during onboarding so nobody is surprised by the workload.
Yes — most football engagements start with a single squad or one age group.
See it on your football data.
Send us a season of scorecards or team sheets and we will build a sample report on your own players — the fastest way to judge whether this is worth it.
