AthElite Labs
The tools that don't exist yet.
Every organisation has one process that no product handles, so it gets done manually forever. Labs is where we build the thing instead — scoped and fixed-priced before we start.
What we've built
Real examples, honestly labelled.
Each of these started as a problem somebody described to us. The status on each says plainly how far along it is — we would rather tell you that than let a prototype read as a shipped product.
Automated shortlisting
Describe the player you need. Get a ranked shortlist with evidence.
You set the brief — role, age band, budget, style. The system scores every player in your dataset against it, ranks them, and assembles a short dossier for each name with the matches that justify it. It re-runs as new results come in, so the list is never out of date.
- You get
- A ranked shortlist with a written case and supporting matches per player.
- Asked by
- Clubs and academies recruiting across a league or district
Automatic opposition reports
Last week's opponent, analysed before your Monday meeting.
Point it at an opponent and it works through their recent matches, pulls out the patterns that repeat, and writes the report your analyst would have spent two days assembling — with the counter-measures ranked by whether your squad can realistically execute them.
- You get
- A coach-ready opposition report with tagged clips and ranked responses.
- Asked by
- Clubs with a small analysis staff and a full fixture list
Workload alerts
Somebody watching the load data even when nobody is watching.
Monitoring that sits on your attendance, minutes, overs and any wearable data continuously. When a player crosses into a risk pattern it does not just fire a threshold alert — it writes up what changed, which factors moved, and what it suggests, then sends it to the right person.
- You get
- A written alert with the drivers and a recommended action, routed to staff.
- Asked by
- Academies and clubs managing age-group or congested-calendar load
Ask your data
Ask a question in plain English or Hindi. Get a charted answer.
Any authorised member of staff can ask something like "who has attended under 60% of sessions this month" and get a charted, sourced answer. It checks the question against that person's permissions before it runs, and shows the working so nobody has to trust it blindly.
- You get
- A charted answer with the underlying query and data sources shown.
- Asked by
- Administrators and directors who currently ask someone else for every number
Auction & draft tools
Run your auction without a spreadsheet and three people shouting.
A purpose-built auction or draft system for league organisers: player pools, budgets, live bidding, squad caps and instant validation, with a public view so everyone in the room sees the same thing. Built to your competition's own rules rather than a generic template.
- You get
- A working auction system, tested before the day, with a full record after it.
- Asked by
- League and tournament organisers running player auctions or drafts
Season simulation
Try a decision a thousand times before you make it once.
A model of the rest of your season — squad, fixtures, availability — that you can interrogate. Rest a key player for three matches and see where the table lands. Promote two academy players in January and watch the range of outcomes shift. Every scenario shows its assumptions.
- You get
- Outcome ranges per scenario, with assumptions stated on the surface.
- Asked by
- Clubs and leagues planning rotation or squad decisions ahead of time
Film-to-insight pipeline
Upload the match. Get back tagged, cut, usable film.
Handles what an analyst normally does by hand: detecting events, tracking players, building the maps and cutting the playlists per player and per theme. Your analyst arrives to reviewed film rather than raw film, which is usually the difference between review happening and not happening.
- You get
- Tagged film, tactical maps and per-player playlists ready for the review room.
- Asked by
- Clubs and academies with footage nobody has time to work through
Multilingual athlete comms
Every athlete reads their plan in the language they think in.
Training plans, wellness prompts, feedback and medical instructions delivered to each athlete in their own language, with the technical terminology kept correct rather than literally translated. Staff write once; every athlete reads it properly.
- You get
- Per-athlete communications in their preferred language, terminology intact.
- Asked by
- Academies and associations with athletes across several language groups
How a build runs
From a sentence to something you use.
No tender process, no eighteen-month programme. You describe the outcome; we quote it before writing any code.
- 011 week
Describe it
A working session where you describe the thing you wish existed. No feature list, no tender document — just the outcome and the constraints. We leave with a written specification.
- 02A few days
Fixed price, agreed
We quote a fixed figure against that specification before any development starts. If it is more than the problem is worth, we say so rather than building it.
- 032–4 weeks
See it work
A working version built against a slice of your real data — something you can use badly and tell us what is wrong with. Most ideas change shape here, which is the point.
- 04Ongoing
Deployed and supported
It goes live inside your existing setup with documentation and training, and we stay on to maintain and extend it as your season and your data change.
Labs FAQs
Before you ask.
Anything the standard solutions do not already cover. Usually it is a process specific to how your organisation works — an auction format, a selection workflow, an integration with a system you already use, or a report nobody else produces.
As a fixed-price build, quoted against a written specification before development starts. You see the number before any work begins. Ongoing maintenance is then folded into your monthly plan.
No. We handle the engineering. What we need is someone who understands the process deeply enough to describe it precisely and tell us honestly when a first version is wrong.
You do. Custom systems built under a Labs engagement belong to you, along with your data and outputs. We do not resell your process to another organisation.
Most start within four to six weeks of the specification being agreed, with a working version to test two to four weeks after that. We deliberately keep first builds small so you can judge the value before committing further.
Describe the thing you wish existed.
If you can explain it precisely, it can almost certainly be built — and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth what it would cost.
